What's the difference between stories and highlights?

Stories disappear after 24 hours. Highlights are stories that the account owner has chosen to pin permanently on their profile. They remain visible as long as the creator keeps them there.

Can the account owner see that I viewed their highlights?

No. Instagram does not provide view counts or viewer lists for highlights to account owners. Additionally, our tool fetches the data through our servers, adding another layer of privacy.
