How do Snapchat streaks work?
A Snapchat streak forms when you and a friend exchange snaps within 24 hours for at least three consecutive days. The fire emoji and day count appear next to their name, and the streak breaks if either person misses a day.
When should the streak alert go off?
You can customize alert timing. Most users prefer a warning 4 to 6 hours before the 24-hour deadline, giving them enough time to send a snap and preserve the streak.
Can I recover a broken streak?
Our tool cannot restore broken streaks — only Snapchat can do that through their support channel. However, proactive alerts from our tracker dramatically reduce the chance of accidental breakage.
